Introduction

A classic on our ATM event calendar, Ultra Trail Koh Chang aka UTKC is back in 2022! One month later than usual, but nevertheless the season opener in our Championship series. UTKC is a sure sell-out despite the technical nature of the long distance course. The 100km and 70km are relevant for ATM Championship points and the Grandmaster Quest, and you better come prepared - physically and mentally. This race has an extreme mixture of very runable and very technical terrain.

Logistics in brief

Best is to fly into Bangkok and take a connecting domestic flight to Trat, which is the gateway to Koh Chang island. To get to the island, you take short 45-minute ferry ride from Trat. There’s plenty of accommodation in Trat as well, should that be necessary. In fact, you can also get to Trat from Bangkok by road transport. It’s doable.
